Students examine research principles, objectives and methodologies used to investigate, analyse and understand human rights issues.
Module 2 — Legal Research and Comparative Analysis
Students analyse legal research methods, comparative approaches and the use of international instruments, decisions and academic sources.
Module 3 — Evidence Collection and Assessment
Students examine methods for gathering, assessing and verifying information used in human rights research.
Module 4 — Documentation and Research Reporting
Students analyse the preparation of research reports, structured findings, citations and clear presentation of human rights information.
Module 5 — Ethics and Responsibility in Human Rights Research
Students examine ethical considerations, accuracy, confidentiality, responsible methods and protection of affected persons.
Module 6 — Advanced Human Rights Research Challenges
Students assess emerging research challenges including digital evidence, information reliability, technology and evolving global issues.
